Following on from the successful Caribbean Food and Drink Conference 2017 at Lambeth College, south London and taking account of the views of delegates and speakers to establish a forum that would discuss and evaluate opportunities for trading with Africa, the Caribbean and Britain, CaribDirect Multi-Media has produced the Caribbean Food and Drink Conference: Going Global. This event will feature participation from Nigeria and Ghana and takes place on Monday 19th November 2018 at Braithwaite Halls, Croydon Clocktower, Katherine Street, Croydon CR9 1ET. To provide an opportunity for Caribbean entrepreneurs / exporters to the United Kingdom to improve their competitiveness and capacity by networking with and learning from Food and Beverage merchants / buyers and policy makers in the UK.
- To help participating Caribbean countries explore and facilitate trade and investment opportunities both locally and in the United Kingdom within the food and drink sector;
- To explore and establish new trade and business development linkages between participating Caribbean countries, export development agencies, distributors and buyers and sellers within the food and drink sector in the UK and EU marketplace;
To provide a credible platform for policy makers and decision makers within the food and drink industry to discuss and debate best practice, challenges and possible solutions, on an annual basis via a one day conference.
